Cattail Lodge

This place sucks. Bosses and workers are racist. We have a baby who's learning to walk and the person downstairs is always banging on the floor every step the baby takes. And the manager takes their side when they know there's a baby. Not only but the workers here tries to walk WALK, INSIDE your door if you don't answer the door.! Who does that? Invading privacy. The bosses doesn't care about their guests AT ALL. The lady boss even said on the phone she doesn't care about how she and her workers came barging in at 10 pm asking for rent from everyone and we was putting our baby to bed and she doesn't care if she woke our baby up? The bosses and manager tell US they don't care about anything we say or ask for. But when the man downstairs complains about us walking to the bathroom or kitchen they CARE about him and tell us we can leave? Why haven't they told the man downstairs to leave? Tell him to leave. It's a motel he can find a new one. He also bangs and complains on Fridays and weekends. But people bang and walk and stomp outside on the portch AND they talk loud and laugh ALL night. And nobody says anything to them. The bosses don't care now but I'm sure they'll care when people leave and they start losing money.

The place is a dump. The rooms reek of smoke. The carpets are probably thirty or forty years old and have probably never been cleaned. This kitchen floors have burn marks in them. You may or may not have hot water at any given moment. The owners do demo work on the building until almost 9:00 PM. Saws, pounding etc. Imagine that at an inn!!! When I mentioned the noise, I was told that ¨it is too hot to work during the day.¨ The disregard this shows for the tenants is stunning. But hey, just keep putting the money in the rent box. Basic small things that could improve the look of the property such as removing the previous year´s leaves from the parking lot are neglected. It is not uncommon to smell marijuana even though they supposedly have a strict no drugs policy. You have to carefully navigate the many craters in the parking lot as you come and go or else wreck your car. Stay away from here and find a place where the owners actually care about their guests
