Hidden fees and poor customer service. Would not recommend their services. if you make a quote that includes a flat travel fee of $25 why do you think its ok to try to tack on $130 to the bill for travel services

I called to arrange for movers to load and unload my uhaul. I was very specific about my needs and whether the 4 hour minimum would cover both the load and unload. I was told yes. First the movers were 2 hours late!!! Then I find that the charges are double what was quoted me!!! After trying to get in touch with mainway I am simply being ignored. Now I have to pay double or unload everything myself. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I had these guys move me today, and everything went great. The price of the move was pretty cheap as well. I would

use Maineway again. Keep up the great service guys!!!!

On November 20th 2008 we entered into a written contract for moving services. For a total cost of $1000 we reserved three men and a 26'' truck through this company. We gave them a $500 cash deposit to hold this date. They failed to show on the 29th, and we received a phone call several hours later informing us that their truck had broken down. We were offered the possibility of a smaller truck in a few hours, which never arrived. After multiple emails and unanswered phone calls, we did finally get an email informing us that if an appropriately sized rental truck could be located the next day, they would come to our apartment and move us. We took it upon ourselves to reserve a rental truck, and after hours of unanswered phone calls on Sunday the 30th were forced to cancel the rental and secure a second moving company. We contacted them at the office and cell number to leave a message concerning the return of our deposit, as well as numerous emails. The only communication we have had with them since that date is one answered email informing us that our refund would be sent to us "within 30 business days." No one answers the phone, or any suceeding emails we have sent. As of this date, we still do not have our deposit.
