O'Gallerie

They came to my house for an antique appraisal. I was told the appraisal was FREE. They were two hours late and later I was billed for $90.00. I refused to pay and they turned me over to a collection company. After I disputed the lousy $90.00, the collection company dropped the claim. BUT the O'Gallery pursued it again under a false claim-maybe it's because I'm a woman and he didn't get my antiques. BAD BUSINESS!

I used this site to look up O'Gallerie's web site and read the reviews and had to add a positive. I have been to a handful of their auctions and come away with treasures at very competetive prices and everyone I have had to deal with have always been kind and professional. One time I bought a painting and forgot to pay and couldnt pick it up for a week and yet the were very reasonable and accomodating. I know in life we alway dont bat 100%, so unfortunately those that have had bad service must have caught them on one of their bad days. I would say that with the full attendance and active on line business I have witnessed at their auctions, they must be doing more good than bad.

I have had to deal with O'Gallerie and it has been the worst experience of my life. After many hours and much wasted time my issue was never resolved. I tend to be a positive person and have never given anyone a bad review, but I want others to be aware of my experience.

I've called O'Gallerie a bazillion times and have never had a problem with being put on hold too long. Everyone is very nice and helpful there. They are the best auction house in the pacific NW by far!
