Dr. Phillip Anthony Plothow, OD

I have been going to Dr. Plothow for years and have always received such great service from him and his staff. They treat you with such great care and concern and most of all they want you as a customer to be happy and satisfied. If you want a good eye Dr. you need to see Dr. Plothow.

Vision Institute of Utah is a wonderful place! Dr. Plothow is an excellent doctor who spends quality time with me and with each of my children. No matter what we need, contacts, glasses, or if we have a medical problem like pink eye, Dr. Plothow takes good care of my family and I would recommend his office to anyone!

I've never wrote a review about anything, it's just too much trouble, but i felt that there wasn't enough comments about this great place. I needed to get a prescription for contacts and it was my first time doing so through my insurance, so to be honest I didn't know what to expect. So I looked to all the places that take my insurance (Spectera) and came across this place. It had only 1 review but it was a good one so I decided to give it a try. I could make an appointment the day I wanted at a very convenient time. So far so good. But when I arrived I noted that the place was rather fancy, not what I expected from a doctor's office so my first thought was, this is going to be pricey. I stayed anyway and I'm glad I did. The staff was polite and helpful and I didn't have to wait long before the doctor saw me. He was very nice and explained every step of the examination and answered every question. At the end he gave an option according to what I was looking for, which was disposable so
