Dirty Don's Bargain Center

I lived in Raytown back in the Eighties, and Dirty Dons was there then, A lot cheaper, but it's still the bomb ......

I was introduced to Dirty Don's to the early 1980 s and have gone ever since. I can't imagine what my pantry would have looked like if it had not been for Dirty Don.

This is my favorite bargain store. I have shopped here for 3 years or so. This is a salvage/surplus store and it is warehouse style so you will see mostly pallets on the floor with cut open boxes but some things are on shelves. The prices really are the best I've seen overall. You DO need to take your time and look everything over really well to understand what you are buying be it normal in-date stuff or a slightly dented can or something that is too far out of date. You may see some items there for a long time and others only once--if you see it and you want it, buy it then! Be sure to check out the 50 cent and 25 cent baskets-you can find some great surprises there. And, if you go frequently enough you will catch some really good buys on close to out of date fancy cheeses. I have bought a lot of stuff there and can say that I have always gotten a lot more than my money's worth. I also find the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

I never knew about this place before my friend Bill told me about it a year ago. I've lived in Raytown for 16 years. If you're looking for food, cleaning agents, shoes, beauty products just about anything!!! I would suggest you try shopping here. You have to go frequently to catch the deals that they do but it's worth it. It's not fancy but it is really cheap.
