Nicholas Gambino: Allstate Insurance

My license was suspended due to a clerical error by Borrelli's office staff. One of my vehicles was somehow dropped from the policy at renewal, which meant that I was unwittingly driving an uninsured vehicle. I received a suspension notice from the DMV for an ins lapse, which I brought to Borrelli's office. They assured me that it was a minor clerical error & that they would take care if it. A few weeks later, a second suspension notice comes. The office staff assured me that the letters must have crossed in the mail & that it was nothing to worry about. Nearly TWO MONTHS later, I was stopped by a County Deputy, (for a missing tail light) who kindly informed me that my license had been suspended & that I should call for a ride home. I called Borrelli's office & emailed him AGAIN about the suspension. He never responded to the email & the staff had a real attitude with me on the phone. They told me not to call back and that if there was a problem, they would call me. When I asked for a call when the matter was resolved, they said no and actually told me to assume everything was okay if I didn't hear back. I had to go above them & contact Allstate directly to get this taken care of. An investigation was also launched by Allstate into Borrelli's practice.
