Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Fixed my washing machine and later used them for my cooktop. They really cared about doing a good job. Neil seemed very honest and explained everything to me and their prices are very fair.

I called to get my Whirlpool washer machine fixed from a drainage problem. He came in to unplug the hoses from dirt and debris that was stuck. The first thing he did was dump all of the wet debris onto the my hardwood floor next to the washer. He didn't care to ask for a towel or plastic bag that i would have gladly given to him, and I was left to pick it up. He left that day, stating that it was fixed, so I payed him the $70 for a mere 10 minutes that it took him to unplug and was out the door. Okay, I thought, fast and quick service. I was so wrong.. the washer kept leaking water profusely after he left (which required me to place towel after towel to soak up the puddles of water.) After I called him to explain he showed up in an hour. He checked and found out it was a broken hose and would order a replacement and would come back in 3 days. A week went by and since he had a lack of communication refused to call until i called him to see what happened. He came in and the brand new replacement hose was broken upon opening from package, again saying he would return later. He left and hasn't come back to fix it. I just got done talking with him and he thought he could set up his own schedule, refusing to come in tomorrow. He has been stalling. I'm on the verge of requesting a full refund.



The service Ashman Appliance has provided has been a nightmare. What I thought would be fast, friendly service turned out to be slow and disappointing. The employee has no care in the world and I can tell he has no interest in making sure my washer is up and running, even though it is such a simple task. He has NO interest in making sure his service is fast, friendly and well done.

I recommend finding one of the many alternatives in the SC and NC area but stay away from Ashman Appliance Service.
