I utilize empathic and strength-based approaches with an interest in person-centered, cognitive behavioral, narrative, and existential therapies. Essentially, I aim to create a welcoming, validating, and fully accepting therapeutic space to assist in exploration of emotions, thoughts, conflicts, and experiences. Further, I believe it is important to view everyone through an intersectional lens to identify the various social identities and roles in our lives and how they interact and impact each other. I strongly believe it is important to explore these dynamics as a way to gain understanding of oneself and to explore how the client and therapist can work as a team towards healing the whole as opposed to one specific part. ​
