The Run In

Fascinating. Negative review censorship. Congratulations. 45,000+ Youtube subscribers, 2000 twitter followers and every Yelp reader in the country who looks up The Run In are about to learn that the 5 star ratings here are completely bogus. Ho Ho Ho! :D

Unfortunately my review is not positive. The old man sold me the totally wrong running shoe after I fully explained that I run 20 miles a week and my feet pronate. I told him I have inserts for my ski boots and that I will need a shoe with some type of support but I leave up to him to pick it out. To his credit, he did spend about 30 minutes of an afternoon working with me and asking several questions while he watched is TV show. I ran about 15 miles or so and my arches hurt so bad I had to stop running the next few days. I went to another running store and they told me that my brand new $90 running shoe from Run In was for neutral runners and totally the wrong shoe for me! Maybe the old man wanted me out of the store so he could watch his show but I wouldn't refer anyone to this store for running shoes. It's too bad because the "old guy" was really nice.

The Run-In is a small store but you get AMAZING quality and customer service that you won?t find in any other store. When I went in, there was just this one old man selling the shoes but he was very friendly, and unlike what other reviews say, he was funny and had a great personality and even gave me tips on how to win a race! When I explained to him what kind of shoes I needed he himself got me the shoes (which is incredible since it takes more than 30 min finding shoes by myself). He helped me by giving me the shoes that worked best for ME and made me try on different pairs to see which would be BEST for what I needed to do. This is a legitimate athletic footwear store and although it?s a little messy you can quickly get the perfect footwear you need. From what I heard in the other reviews, the old man that sells these shoes actually has a more than excellent background in running and I could tell he was very knowledgeable when he helped with my shoes. Excellent store overall!!

Very personable owners, and with a history of competitive running. Also, 'you' to try the shoes outside rather then the typical carpeted surfaces in a store!
