St Creole Southern Cuisine

After driving by the restaurant for months I decided to try it out. So upset I hadn't earlier! I ordered a lot of sides and a shrimp po boy and my mom ordered a catfish dinner.....the meal size was huge, my mom, and 3 kids were able to eat the meal and have leftovers. my sides were great, and the peach cobbler is sinfully delicious. I had a little bit of a wait but they cook the food right there in front of you and there were several people waiting over an hour for Mac n cheese. The best thing about it is that its Christian owned! Looking forward to another great meal.

I'm giving this place 3 stars for super friendliness the people that run it they are very nice there. I have been there only twice I went once when they first opened and ordered red beans and rice and cornbread I was very disappointed I thought since it was a Creole place that I would taste some different flavors that I'm not use to and that didn't happen! The food was very bland nothing special to talk about and for months I didn't return until today, I ordered Tilapia with Collards and Mac Cheese as the two sides they offer with the dinner boy oh boy was that a mistake the Tilapia was really fried nicely but the flavor there was nothing Creole about it. It was just fried fish with a nice crunch the Mac and Cheese it was creamy almost commercial type and that is not what I was looking for the collards were bitter no boiling meat in it like smoked turkey or ham hocks ect. at all, it had no flavor other than being bitter from being cooked plain there were no seasonings on it I was greatly disappointed. The cornbread tasted like somebody used old oil in it or that it was from a couple days ago. I like the people who run it but if that's Creole food I'll just stick to regular food. .I couldn't eat more than one piece of fish its big pieces i left the greens and mac cheese it was awful. I'm not out to try and ruin them but I had to speak the truth I hope they see this and take it as an constructive complaint. I will not visit this restaurant again the prices are way too high to be disappointed a third time.

This was the best meal my family has had in a long time! Wonderful flavors and a lot of food. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to make us happy.
