im going through the same crap i had my engine rebuilt there also its been 1 yr and they still cant get it right hugo joe and manuel do the engine work in the front ,but the mechanic george in the back is the one who removews and installs the motor back in, well this guy will remove ur new components and install used part so he can make another motor work the dishonest one is the mechanic the highland hills motors.well long story short hes been busted doing this! i hate dishonest mechanics like george

My husband and I brought our truck to highland hills to get a new motor put in it and it has been the worst experience of my life! Got the truck back full of grease oil and motor parts from them using it to scrap old motors, almost 2 months after we dropped it off and was no good. Broke down less then a mile from the shop. It had a terrible knock and the distributer was installed incorrectly but they swore it was the fuel pump, so they got us for another couple hundred dollars for the pump. We brought the truck home and it had a terrible knock, so we had no choice but to bring it back. Motor number 2 did the same thing and this time I had taken a picture of the dash when we dropped it off for proof of the mileage and got it back with 100 extra miles on it, but since that motor ticked and knocked we once again had to bring it back. We are on motor number 3 and it leaks oil terribly the oil pump just died. That also is covered under the warranty but I have learned my lesson, going to change the oil pump ourselves this weekend. Don't EVER go to Highland Hills Automotive Machine for anything! You will regret it for the rest of your life!!!
