        We often eat at Frateli's. The pizza is excellent. We have not tried anything that wasn't delicious. The staff is friendly. Great little local restaurant!

        Don't go . The food was horrible. My husband and I went at 4 :30 on a week day and we're the only ones in there. That sound have been our first clue that it wasn't good. It took ten minutes for us to get our drinks. My husband ordered a steak that was 19 dollars and it was worth about 2 dollars . It was tough fatty burnt and had no flavor, unless you count the burnt taste it leaves in your mouth. There rolls were cold and old. I ordered the chicken parmigian and it was frozen imitation chicken and the noodles tasted like they were from a ramen noodle packet. Will not be returning!!

        I am only writing this review because I'm shocked someone had such a bad experience here. We have eaten at Frateli's many times and been very, VERY impressed. They have a very extensive menu and I have never eaten the same thing twice; it's always excellent. I'm wondering if the "frozen" and "better food at McDonald's" remarks are a plant, because nothing could be farther from the truth.

        If there were more than 5 stars, this restaurant deserves them! As the originator of the restaurant column in the Gazette and having reviewed restaurants in 4 states, Sharon and I find this to be the best Italian we have found in Central Oklahoma. This is not a slop on the red sauce place; there are at least 8 sauces on the menu and if you want something special, it will be made for you. The veal is real veal, the seafood fresh and the portions huge. Prices, on the other hand, are very low. People come for the lunch specials from all over the state but sometimes have to wait as locals crowd the eatery every day. I'm making myself hungry-we're off to Fratelli"s. By the way, the pizza is also the best we have tried-including New york, Chicago and Naples

        This is quite possibly the worst italian food that has ever passed my lips. All the food we ordered had been frozen, nothing more impressive than what you can pick up at your local grocery store in the frozen section. I went here with a group of five and we tasted each others dishes, because the only one satisfied with their meal ordered a salad, and all the sauces tasted exactly the same. Save your money and just pick something up from McDonalds because thats about the quality of food you will get here for a much higher price.

        A Shawnee favorite of ours, just wish we had one in Edmond, OK

        This restaurant makes me wish I lived in Shawnee, but definitely worth the drive from Edmond, OK which we do quite often. Excellent, excellent food at affordable prices!
