Golden Corral Restaurants

My wife and I have eaten there several times. The prices are reasonable, the food above average for the price range, and the staff are consistently polite and efficient--though they become overtaxed sometimes at peak periods.

Springfield, IL Golden Coral is my All-Time Favorite place to eat! Great, friendly service, reasonable prices, and totally Awesome food!!! The Salad bar has anything and everything you could possibly want and the pot roast and the made-from-scratch mashed potatoes are scrumptious, as are the homemade rolls! The dessert bar has a wonderful selection of down-home treats to choose from, though I seldom have room left by the time I have enjoyed a large plate of salad and then my favorite pot roast, mashed potatoes, and roll! I treated my husband and my youngest step-daughter to lunch there just this past Sunday (Father's Day) and the place was packed-which wasn't surprising! We did have to wait in line a bit (the line came clear out the door and down the sidewalk!) but we didn't mind the wait-the food was well worth it!! I have to mention our waitress that day - her name is Maly - she was the best waitress we have ever had anywhere! She was friendly, attentive, and just plain awesome!
