Ebony Beauty Supply

I was a frequent shopper at Ebony for years, but had a terrible experience at check out with an employee who basically accused me of trying to give him a counterfeit $20, and asked if my bi-racial daughter was "with me," at point of check out. I was appalled, hugely insulted at the thought, and were it not for the service of the black young lady who works with me each time I go into the store, I would have put my items back, and exited the store, never to return again! I dont know if he was new or not, but thats not my issue. These people set up within, then extract money from our communities, then treat people as instacriminals and stereotypical models they design in their heads, disrespect the very customers making their stores run, and then take that money back to their communities and invest there. My dollar came from a BANK, I am a working, professional, and they have lost a customer for their employees response, apparently thinking anone that enters the store paying in cash is going to pass them a counterfeit bill, something I couldn't fath doing to anyone!!

But, when you are battling perception, you are up against the idea someone has about you in their head. In my case, they were clearly wrong, and it's costing them a long time customer. I was insulted, it was rude, and I won't be back, unless it's to tell the manager/owner what happened.

Owner yelled at me when I asked the price of remy hair. He then hung up in my face. They don't give prices over the phone. I will never go back. Go to divas or beauty supplies in a better location for the better service you deserve
