Portesi Fine Foods

We just ate there Saturday night and I'm ready to go back!!! I love their thin crisp crust paired with the mellow flavor of their home made sauce,and my husband loves their home made sausage(I am a vegetarian). Also like that they cut the pizza in squares not pies. Outstanding pizza every time I go there!!!!!!!!!!!! Garlic bread is also great, crisp outside soft inside. Service has always been friendly and courteous,and the pizza is made from scratch so it takes about 20-30minutes to get your pizza. Best pizza in town- besides the other restaurant theyown in the Mall called Silvios. Same great pizza and they deliver

I was in town visiting my son and he took me out to Portesi's Fine Foods, it was a wonderful dinner experience. All the food was great and service was excellent! We had a nice, relaxing night out at Portesi's.

I've been eating this pizza for as long as I can remember and have NEVER had a bad experience. Whether dining in or ordering carry out, the food and service has been consistently phenomenal!

Don't order takeout. They lost our order and figured it out 45 minutes later. The employee reheated it and charged us full price. She also thought the mix up was really funny.

Service was slow, but the pizza was great!

We went to this restaurant later in the evening. The was only one other table of people and they were finishing their dinners. We decided to get three dishes and share it between the three of us. We ordered a pizza, beef raviolis and chicken parmesan. The pizza was excellent! The ravioli was good. The sauce was a little acidic, but we all liked it. The problem was the chicken parmesan. It didn't taste like chicken and we determined that it was really veal. We told the waiter. He offered to adjust our bill, but did not offer to make us some chicken. We would go back, but thought that we would rather have chicken than a bill adjustment. We were not looking for a discount when we complained. We were looking for some chicken!

The restautant name Portesi's Fine Food, gave me hope that I had found a great small town pizzaria... UNFORTUNATELY, I did not anticipate it would take over an hour to be served a single small pizza. When I decided I did not want to wait any longer for the pizza, I was told by management that they would call the cops for not paying for my bill!!! Obvioulsy, the customer service has too much to be desired for me to ever recommend this restaurant and I certainly will never go back. I have eaten at dives and top rated restaurants and the one one key thing that keeps me coming back is timely well prepared food served by friendly staff. You will not get any of this here. I homestly have no idea how this place is in business. There are many better choices to eat better food in this small town. Try Cafe Mulino, for a great sit down Italian meal in an establishment with ambiaence and respectable customer service. Or just down the street at Pasquale's, equally delicious and well run. If it is take out you want in the pizza arena, Rollin dough is the best choice or even Dominos is far better than Portesi's, espcecially when it comes to customer service.

Most business orientiated owners will warn you if a dish takes awhile to make. My pizza took OVER AN HOUR! and it was over priced! Any italian knows a good pizza does not take an hour to make.

They have an inexperienced "chef" and its obvious they are completely imcompetitent in making a pizza or anyting in a timely mannor.



Its absoultely distasteful IN A SERVICE INDUSTRY to make a partron pay for a pizza that they no longer wish to consume after taking so long. The "owners" of this restaurant are very unprofessional and conduct business in a "dirty" way. They have threatned people to call the cops on them if they do not pay for a pizza that was never touched when the customer tried to cancel the order (before it came out!)



Let's be honest, this place is old, terrible decor, watered down cocktails, food that does not reflect the value, nefarious management, and childish business tactics.



If you want good pizza in Wisconsin Rapids, go to the Hotel Mead's Cafe Mulano, Pasquales, or call up Rollin' Dough -- Best HOME MADE pizza in town!

This restaurant is fantastic. The service is great, and so is the food. I walked into this building not knowing what I was about to experience. We ordered with the waitress and in no time we had our food. It was absolutely amazing! Everything was done the way we wanted it. It is a friendly atmosphere and family orientated.
