Queen Aicha African Hair Braiding

Regardless of what people say about this place I've enjoy being here! I moved to ypsilanti back in sepember of 2007 and i have dedicated my services to them for all but one time due to it being crowed! A few of the braiders are heavy handed which makes me have tp voice my concern but when i get lucky enough to get my two favs*still dont know their names to this day* I'm always glad to see them as they are to me! Thanks for being my go to place for almost 10yrs

They did a excellent job on my box braids, but a college student from out of state stopped in and politely asked did they know were a barbershop was and they just stared at him, never responded. I told him I wasn't from the area and didn't know of any.They only socialize with one another in the native tongue.They weren't friendly at all.

This place is dirty and unprofessional!! They did my sewin weave wrong and made the braids huge so i could not find them with my natural hair.They also scream in your ear while taking on phone the whole 3 hours while sitting there. also the people coming in and out of this place are shady as hell so watch your back when you leave. There are too many other braiding places to put up with this hell hole!!

When I went in I felt kind of weird because all of the women in there (braiders) kept stairing at me. I still never got that but overall i'm very happy, she did an excellent job on my sew in and after she was finished with my hair all of the women were stairing and smiling and told me how nice it looked. I would recommend this place!
